How do I delete a user?
This guide explains how to delete a user from your Hubhus account. Only administrators can delete users.
Before you begin
Only administrators can delete users. If you don't see the delete option, contact your account administrator.
Deleting a user
To delete a user from your account:
- Navigate to Account → Users
- Find the user you want to delete in the list
- Click the small red trash icon on the right side of the user's row
- Confirm the deletion
Deleting an admin user
If the user you want to delete has administrator privileges, you must first remove their admin status:
- Navigate to Account → Users
- Find the admin user in the list
- Uncheck the Admin checkbox
- Now you can click the red trash icon to delete the user
- Confirm the deletion
Important
Users with administrator privileges cannot be deleted until their admin status is removed. This is a safety measure to prevent accidental deletion of admin accounts.
What happens when a user is deleted
When you delete a user:
- The user loses access to all campaigns and leads
- The user can no longer log in to Hubhus
- Leads previously assigned to this user remain in the system
- Historical data (emails sent, activities performed) is preserved
